Island Booth at the Market, 27 Oct 201227 Oct 2012 With Halloween hitting the island next week, Dernice from Made-N-Raro broke out her very best monster make-up, so we saw ghouls, beasts and heroes in the booth this week. We also had some big family groups stop by for a memento, and a wedding couple who found the IB Facebook Page and made it their mission to track us down at the market. Meitaki to our local boothers who bring visitors to see us - bring your loyalty card with you to earn free stuff.

Island Booth at the Market, 20 Oct 201220 Oct 2012 Our first market since our Spring Break and with the blossom starting to appear around the island, a great chance to break out our Tipani Pink backdrop. Work is progressing on the new stage, and will probably be finished up in the coming week.

Island Booth at the Market, 22 Sept 201222 Sep 2012 Ahhh yes, Spring. Last week we were buffeted by the wind; this weekend - the rain. It was the Round Rarotonga Road Race this morning. That’s where a whole lot of people get up really early and are chased around the island by a group of drummers. We had a few runners and their support crews grab some pix. Exploring the markets was one boother’s strategy to stop from seizing up (post-run). Our Tamariki Yellow backdrop kept the pix sunny, as the lower box of the booth steadily disappeared under water. Meitaki to everyone who brave the elements to visit the booth :).

Island Booth at the Market, 15 Sept 201215 Sep 2012 A late start to the market this morning. It was a bit breezy, but just enough to clear away the cloud for a crisp, sunny Spring day.
We helped to celebrate a family honeymoon, birthday, friendships and took some great group and family portraits.
We also welcomed back to the Rock some repeat boothers - meitaki for making 3-2-1, Kia orana!' part of your itinerary :).

Island Booth at the Market, 8 Sept 20128 Sep 2012 A taste of Summer at the market today. A number of reasons to celebrate in the booth: weddings, honeymoons, birthdays; new additions to the family; and visiting family and friends. Our backdrop (Lime Fruit Salad), is always POPular with boothers. We also debuted our new range of special frames from Picture Paradise. Just $20 and $25 for 6"x8" frames - for our blow-ups - a variety of styles, in white, black, and wood finishes.

Island Booth at the Market, 25 Aug 201225 Aug 2012 Visitors to the island for the Pacific Leaders Forum arrived in Rarotonga this week, so there were a few new faces (and dialects), at the market today. PICI continued their CI shark sanctuary petition just behind us - sign it when you seem them. One family visiting the booth let us know that we’ve made a ‘top things to do in Raro’ list - meitaki maata:).

Island Booth at the Market, 18 Aug 201218 Aug 2012 A Saturday of big family groups down at the market - the occasions including an escape from the NZ Winter, weddings, and a 60th birthday. We also had Jess and volunteers from the Pacific Islands Conservation Initiative (PICI) promoting the proposed Cook Islands Shark Sanctuary - collecting signatures and selling a great range of t-shirt and singlet tops. Island Booth at the Market, 28 July 201228 Jul 2012 After a late finish at Mikaela & Antony’s wedding last night - the booth _almost took the morning off. Our start was further delayed by leaving a key part back in Muri - pushing our wee van to its limits. Meitaki maata to Hannah and Michaela who waited patiently for their prints. With Te Maeva Nui celebrations underway, we saw some new faces, along with boothers who were on the Rock the same time last year.

Island Booth at the Market, 21 July 201221 Jul 2012 A number of firsts this Saturday. We hung our new ‘Photo Booth’ banners - these will make it easier to spot us at markets and events ’round the Rock. With the help of visiting family, Kate modelled our new FAMILY PASS - that’s just $20 for two photo strips and three blow-ups. We’d also like to thank Kukis visiting from AU who discovered the IB Facebook Page and tracked us down for a commemorative pic.
We’re now starting the countdown to Te Maeva Nui…
